I know they've rejected similar style ads from perceived lefty organizations (I"ll dig up links later) like that Congregational denomination that had those tolerance ads after the 2004 election...so this may be a first for NBC in blocking an ad from a conservative org. At least it's the first time that it's been discussed publically. I tend to believe that NBC (and others) have this policy simply cause lawyers tell them to so as not to get into any dustups. Sort of like HRC's prez campaign thus far.

Here's what I just wrote to TV38 after watching this junk:
"Why are you showing junk like this on your network in the morning, or at any time? This show has been panned by not only the Anti-Defamation League (http://www.adl.org/PresRele/HolNa_52/4877_52.htm) but also by Dr. Francis Collins, the director of the National Human Genome Research Institute for the NIH, who had to force the Coral Ridge organization to remove him and his work from this program before it originally aired. And, of course, having Ann Coulter be an expert on this show is just pure fantasy. Her comparison of Margaret Sanger's work with Planned Parenthood to the Nazi Final Solution is just beyond the pale. Coulter is, of course, a known plagiarist (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13803982/) and a racist ("Raghead talks tough, raghead faces consequences", from her Conservative Action Political Conference on Feb 10, 2006 is a good example, as is her Sept 12, 2001 commentary "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."). Of course, the best part of it is that you play the Stooges immediately afterward.
You want to show broadcasts of Sunday mass or megachurch Sunday sermons, fine. Do not dress up this junk as science or have somebody link Nazism to birth control. I know that tv38 is owned by wbz as well...I'll be happy to complain to them directly as well."
Feel free to
write them about their airing of this crap. Here are
some other things I found about this program...
