Dodds Faked His Accident???!?!
Wifey alerted me to this...Apparently there's evidence showing that former NH Dem primary candidate Gary Dodds faked his 24-hr disappearance after a car accident...as our intrepid readers may recall, his car was found cracked up on a NH highway and he went missing for about a day. I've not followed the NH-01 district much since then so I know nothing of any information that came out in the past two years...I was too focused on our Mass elections and keeping Healey out of office. Well, I'll just say this-- While it will be fascinating to discover what the police have to think they have for enough evidence to go ahead with this case (they must have SOMETHING, right?), the fact that he did have frostbite on his feet, and the fact that both a campaign worker reported seeing the cut on his forehead from the concussion, and the admitting nurses and doctor all verified he had suffered from a concussion makes this one fascinating case to follow.
IF in fact it ends up somehow being what the police claim it is (a publicity stunt), then it backfired completely as he ended up having to cancel a lot of fundraisers, walks, etc., due to his feet injuries, and he gained a reputation as "that guy from the weird car accident incident".
