Random Saturday Musings
Ahh, another Saturday spent at work...well, some quick hits to at least log the things I've found during my breaks:- I've been listening to Chris Lydon's latest radio show in the early mornings on the road, Open Source. The Thursday show (that I heard on Friday morning on 91.5 FM) partularly got my blood boiling due to the subject. That means he must be doing something right!
- DarkSyde over at Dailykos is the science blogger that I'd like to be - if I didn't have to work! Long interview with Carl Zimmer, who writes for Discover magazine. Oh yeah, and this wonderful bit about how during Katrina, NOAAs scientists were supressed from talking about how global warming increases the intensity of hurricaines. Asinine.
- Aravosis has a long post about how the WaPo does not look at the full picture when it comes to Cheney's recent remarks about how illegal domestic spying is something to hammer the Dems with and against anybody who thinks that it's illegal - which happens to include the conservative that runs the organization that he spoke at! Earlier post here as well. Look below for my Bob Barr post - another conservative that thinks the domestic spying is illegal.
Have fun with the Noreaster!
